Update on FDFA Semi-Annual 2009 – Ottawa
November Semi-Annual – 2009 (Ottawa, ON)
The FDFA owners/operators will be meeting this Fall at the Chateau Laurier Hotel in Ottawa for the upcoming Semi-Annual Meeting.
On Tuesday, November 17th, 2009 the FDFA Board of Directors will be meeting during the day, and on the evening of Tuesday, November 17th, 2009, Pernod Ricard Americas Travel Retail will be hosting an operator/owner dinner in Ottawa. This dinner will be a casual/fun evening and at this time the location and specific evening time has not been confirmed. Information on the semi-annual meeting will be provided to the FDFA Operator members at the end of August 2009 by Allison Boucher.
On Wednesday, November 18th, 2009 there will be an all day operator’s meeting discussing various government related issues, business development initiatives and general duty free discussions. During the evening of November 18th, 2009, the FDFA will be hosting a MP reception at the Rideau Club in Ottawa, whereby the FDFA invites all key MP’s, specific industry stakeholders and other key political representatives for a cocktail reception. The MP Reception will only include FDFA land border duty free operators and invited political representatives.
On Thursday, November 19th, 2009, the FDFA will be hosting a series of professional development workshops at the Chateau Laurier Hotel. At this time, the FDFA Supplier and Business Development Committee are finalizing the topics of the workshops. All FDFA members (supplier, operator and associate members) will be invited to attend. The confirmed topics/speakers of these workshops will be communicated at the beginning of October 2009. |
